The right care after your application:

Sport and physical activities

Refrain from intensive sport for about 72 hours after your appointment. This allows the Botox to work undisturbed and your result will be just as you want it.

Intense heat and sun

Also avoid the sun, sauna and the like for three days, as heat can affect the result.

Alcohol and nicotine

Alcohol and nicotine can increase swelling and slow down the healing process. It is better to reduce your consumption a few days before and after the injection, or even abstain completely if you can.

Facial massages

After your treatment, do not go to the areas of your face that have been treated. In other words, do not massage the frown lines, forehead or eyebrow area. Otherwise you run the risk of the botulinum toxin slipping and affecting the result.

Regular refresher

Are there any side effects of frown line injections?

As with all aesthetic treatments, side effects may occur in rare cases. Slight swelling, redness or small bruises may occur at the injection sites, but these usually disappear on their own after a few hours. In rare cases, a temporary weakening of neighboring muscles or asymmetrical facial expressions may occur. If any unevenness remains after two weeks, we will correct this for you free of charge at your follow-up appointment.

The result usually lasts 3-4 months. After that, muscle activity slowly returns.

The full effect unfolds two weeks after the application, only then does a follow-up treatment make sense if necessary.
How often you need to refresh your Botox depends, among other things, on how quickly your metabolism works. As a rule of thumb, you can repeat the application approximately every 4-6 months.
