The most important points for proper care after your wrinkle treatment

Sport and physical activities

Avoid intensive sport , direct sun exposure and make-up for at least 72 hours immediately after your crow’s feet treatment. Also avoid the solarium, sauna and the like for three days, as heat can affect the result.

Alcohol and nicotine

Also minimize nicotine, alcohol and blood-thinning medication such as aspirin at least 24 hours before and after the treatment. If you can do without them completely, all the better. This minimizes possible side effects such as swelling and bruising.

Downtime

The minimally invasive treatment has the advantage that there is no downtime. This means that you can carry on with your everyday life as normal immediately after the injection of the forehead wrinkles and do not have to take any extra vacation.

How long does the effect last?
As with any aesthetic treatment method, side effects may occur in rare cases. Slight oedema, redness or small bruises may occur at the injection sites, but these usually disappear on their own after a few hours. In rare cases, a temporary weakening of adjacent muscles or asymmetrical facial expressions may occur. If any unevenness remains after two weeks, we will correct this for you at your follow-up appointment – at no extra cost.
Most patients only feel a slight prick. However, we are happy to apply an anesthetic cream on request.
As the injection is carried out using very fine syringes, you will hardly notice the minor procedure. In exceptional cases, we can apply an anesthetic cream beforehand.

The effect is not permanent. The body completely breaks down the muscle relaxant within 4 to 6 months. After that, muscle movement gradually returns and wrinkles, including crow’s feet, slowly start to form again.
